Tips and tricks from those in the know

A Welcome Home reader recently asked about taking virtual tours of properties—how effective and reliable they can be for a buyer who may not be in the area and able to tour them in person. Realtor Kiki Sydnor offered some insight into how she assists remote buyers:

I actually love doing virtual tours! It’s a fantastic way to save time and still get a feel for the home. When I take clients on virtual tours, I record the property in its entirety, showcasing the rooms, the mechanicals, the yard, and all the unique features. After the buyer has time to review the recorded footage, I like to follow up with a live FaceTime or Zoom call, when I’ll personally walk them through the property, answering any outstanding questions. It’s a great way to make the most of your househunting time!”
