Groton — A project to pave Flanders Road began this week, according to the town.

“Flanders Road from the I-95 Overpass to Route 1 will be milled and repaved by a contractor hired by the Town,” according to a notice on the town website. “Weather permitting, the work should take about a month.”

The project began Monday, according to the town notice.

“The road will be open at all times, but you may be delayed at times for a few minutes,” the notice continued. “Please plan for possible delays or seek an alternate route.”
