STAMFORD MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT IN GREENWICH FREED
— A Stamford man charged with first-degree sexual assault in Greenwich will no longer be subject to “home confinement,” which was part of his bail agreement, a judge ruled.
As the criminal case against Fernando Cuellar-Vasquez continues, on a charge of first-degree sexual assault in Greenwich, he will no longer be subject to “home confinement” that was part of his bail agreement.
Fernando Cuellar-Vasquez, 24, appeared in state Superior Court in Stamford on Tuesday morning, and attorney J.J. Millibrandt requested that his “home confinement” be lifted. The Stamford man was previously ordered to stay home, except to work and travel to work. Superior Court Judge Bruce Hudock granted permission to end home confinement, although Cuellar-Vasquez is still ordered to stay home outside of the hours of 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Cuellar-Vasquez is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at a residence in Greenwich in August 2021.
