Waterford — Linda L. Abbiati, 94, of Waterford died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. She was the widow of George Abbiati Sr. who passed May 10, 2009. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Paul Church, with interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. A complete obituary will be published in Sunday’s edition of The Day.
